Quiet Aisles, BBC Desires
BBC Desires build between the bookstore aisles.
You notice him before I do.
He’s standing in the aisle across from me, tall enough that the shelves don’t hide him the way they hide everyone else. Dark skin against the pale covers. Still. Focused. Like he belongs there more than the books do.
